Do you have insurance on the computer? Usually if you buy a computer from office max, staples, etc there is some type of insurance policy. However, the insurance only lasts about 3 years. If you don't have insurance on the computer, try taking it into a shop to receive an estimate of how much it would cost. They would probably be able to tell you if you need a new computer or if it can be fixed. If the price to repair it out weighs the price of the computer, you probably be better off buying a new one if you have the budget. Why HP pc computers???? if you know how to fix them help me..?
So it dosent work at all or just when on chargerWhy HP pc computers???? if you know how to fix them help me..?
Try keeping the plug in to give the pc power but take the battery out. Turn the laptop on without the battery. If it stays off it could be a charge wire problem or if it turns on then that battery might be messed up. You can try a power reset on your laptop by holding the power button with the wire plugged in and the battery out for like 10 secs and then stop and put the battery back in. That sometimes fixes the charging.

If none of that fixes it well then its not a power problem but could be something else such as a ram stick going bad which could be the reason the monitor isnt turning on.
