Can i run an hdmi and a component on ps3?

I started doing video recording with a capture card and i have run into a problem. What i see is run through an hdmi and what is recorded is through a component cable. I can play games in the capture window on my computer but it has about 5 seconds of button lag. Is there any way i can keep the hdmi through my projecter and run the component cables so i can record? Keep in mind its on a ps3. Please help!Can i run an hdmi and a component on ps3?
