I'm thinking of getting a new computer and I was wondering what would be the best one to get to run minecraft on and record videos using fraps. I would also like it to possibly be able to run things like skyrim or bf3. ThanksWhat would be a good computer for making minecraft videos on?
Really there is a huge difference in Minecraft and Skyrim.
Minecraft is a small java engine driven 16bit graphics program with limited graphical needs. Skyrim and BF3 are huge, interconnect computer programs with massive taxing on your graphics card, and processor both.
A computer for minecraft is simple, the baseline would be 1g VGA card, and probably 1g ram as well.
Skyrim i would recommend no less than 2g ram, a 2048 Graphics card, and probably a much higher level sound card as well, and if you want to record videos, you will want more than that.
